For the TRON fans

My baby brother turned 23 this past week. Queue the “feel like dirt” stage. *sigh*

He’s been showing everyone the TRON trailer and Daft Punk TRON song for a month now. I’m pretty sure his girlfriend may strangle him if she has to watch another TRON video. Naturally, I made him a TRON cake.

It was a Guinness chocolate cake with vanilla frosting and fondant/buttercream decorations. I used the Duff Goldman fondant for the first time and was pretty impressed. It was easy to handle, smelled delicious, and wasn’t as bland as some fondant tends to be.

He’s an artistic shot courtesy of the hubs:

Happy Birthday Al! Love you kiddo!

LOVE your cake!!! My daughter turns 10 next week and told me she wants a Tron cake. I was at a loss as to what I was going to do until I came across your blog. This is the best one I have seen. Thanks so much for the inspiration 🙂
